HE SHALL THRIVE

He brightens up the morning
When one enters in, yawning,
Sitting at the oily deskthat bears witness to his age.
His stature, it lies, for he is able to manage,
Welcomes customers with his smile"Vanga, Vanga!"

In contrast to departmental stores,
Chain shops with zombies shopping,
He stands out-“Customer satisfaction” his mantra!
Quality goods at competitive prices”- his USP;
No ornamentation, no add-ons,
Household needs are there on and on.
Amidst cut throat competition, with his drive
He too shall thrive,

Personal care, lil’ bit of
gossip about family gives fillip;
His customers keep trooping infrom early morn till late hours of day
He will turn none away.

KARMA YOGI

Walking along dusty road
Alert, not bored.

Routine by and large the same,
Got to be in the game.

Politics, Sports, Pleasure- Yes! No, not longer.
Priority-Familial Responsibility, bond stronger.

Appearance-run of the mill kind
Utterance, no word unkind.

Day after day the grind
Daylight-a new find.

Forests or solitude do not beckon
No gym to reckon.

Never shirks his duty,
Mind never rusty.

In simplicity lies the solution
Bliss! the source of evolution.
